AC Milan watching Arsenal man while waiting for decision on his future

AC Milan has been credited with an interest in Folarin Balogun and they are not giving up on adding him to their squad.

The Englishman is on loan at Reims from Arsenal and continues to show great form at the Ligue 1 club.

Mikel Arteta’s side is also doing well in England, with Gabriel Jesus, Leandro Trossard, Eddie Nketiah and Gabriel Martinelli taking turns to play in the number nine role at the Emirates.

This means Balogun will struggle to play when he returns and the attacker will not want that.

Football Insider reveals Milan continues to monitor him and the Italian club is keen to ensure he joins them.

They are now waiting to see what Arsenal decides in the summer and if they get encouragement that he is not in the plans of Mikel Arteta, they will pounce to add him to their squad.

Just Arsenal Opinion

Balogun has been a revelation this season and that has seen his reputation rise significantly.

However, his fine form in France still does not mean he will automatically get a first-team spot when he returns, so he might leave in the summer.

  1. Balogun’s rise to power is on the move and he will be another Harry Kane. He has been very consistent. The best for Arsenal will be to allow him to continue his development on another loan where he can enjoy regular game time next campaign and then bring him back in 2025 as a ready-made product.

  2. No. Rather sell Tavares. Keep Tierney and Balogun. And for the records, The Arsenal will not sell Balogun this summer. Not when we’re thinking of bringing in another striker to properly compete with Jesus. If Balogun wasn’t an Arsenal player, we would be looking to sign him as a third striker. I’ve always thought him to be better than Nketiah and I believe ultimately, it would be Balogun and Jesus as our starting options

    1. Nketia and Jesus are are same level one has 9 goals and other has 5 goals , one has 0ne assist other has 6 assists respectively.
If balogun can score at a better rate i.e above our wingers (Saka and martinelli) then he has to get the 9 geyser no argument.
We want a striker who can a least score between 18 to 25 goals per season in the league.
Currently we do not have .

  3. There is a video about Balogun on @Arsenal. it’s about his time at Reims,in it he says that he is an Arsenal player(he even has his picture in an Arsenal kit on his locker.he says that his dream is to play for the first team.that sounds promising to me.by the way,in France he is now called/known as “Balo”.
