Arsenal could reignite their interest in Juventus star in January

Arsenal’s interest in Dusan Vlahovic dates back to his time at Fiorentina, but the Serbian striker ultimately chose to join Juventus over the Gunners.

Arsenal was reportedly prepared to make a substantial offer for Vlahovic, but he opted for Juventus instead. However, after two seasons in Turin, Vlahovic’s future at the club appears uncertain, as he has struggled to meet expectations, possibly due to the style of play at Juventus.

Mikel Arteta still holds Vlahovic in high regard and considers him a player who would be a valuable addition to the team. According to a report from Fichajes, as reported by Football365, Arsenal may consider making a move for him in the upcoming January transfer window.

Vlahovic is widely regarded as one of Europe’s top strikers, and he has the potential to excel under a manager who can bring out the best in him, which Arteta believes he can do. Arsenal’s interest in Vlahovic could see them renew their pursuit of the talented Serbian forward.

Just Arsenal Opinion

We need a striker who can guarantee 20 league goals per season. Gabriel Jesus and Eddie Nketiah have not looked like a player that fits that description.

If we can sign Vlahovic and make him perform as he did when he played for Fiorentina, we can be certain that the goals will come from his boots and make us a top club again.

  1. “Michael Arteta still holds Vlahovic in high esteem”, really? Did Arteta say so?
For all we know Arteta and Edu only go for players who wholly want to play for Arsenal. I doubt if that includes the likes of Vlahovic who openly rejected a move to Arsenal even when Arsenal made a bigger offer to Florentina than Juventus did.
We don’t need him here please.

    1. Agree with both posts above – he couldn’t have made it clearer regarding his thoughts about The Arsenal.
Jen, did you read the saga regarding the contract Sanchez agreed to, but then renaged on and, if so, what are your thoughts now?

      1. The player didn’t give any explanation for changing his mind in such a short space of time. I’m sure City or Urd had something to do with it.

  2. I really hope this does not happen, as Vlahovic may be the world’s greatest goalscorer, but he’d be trouble with a capital T, especially with his public demonstrations of hatred for Albanians. Best to avoid all footballers from the area once know as Yugoslavia.

  3. Vlohovic is a poor man Haaland alright, we have seen when the gaffer likes a player how quickly it can turns into an obsession, though am not sure this ship has quite sailed, another powerful midfielder is of more priority in my opinion.

The problem is having sign a misfiring Havertz, not sure Arsenal have the appetite to sign Vlohovic as he hasn’t really been rooting up any trees in recent times, and having rejected us once dosen’t help his cause.

But the Serbian could come alive in the premier league, giving us a different dimension up top

      1. For sure. The Vlahovic money plus a margin may land us Ferguson, he is EPL tested and he is hungry for more. I am ok with vlahovic playing for us, but I doubt we have the pocket for him.

  4. The question is why are we unable to unearth gems like Ferguson when Brighton are?Their latest signing, Carlos Baleba is a name to remember as he soon will be lighting up the Premier League. As for Vlahovic, pass.

    1. Grandad, Gift Orban has a fantastic conversion rate playing for Ghent in the Belgian League and Europe. Ange and Spurs have already shown an interest to invest some of the Kane funds.

    2. Could it be that we decided to make our excellent team of scouts redundant Grandad?

I’m not sure what or how Brighton have in place, but they seem to be every other club to shame?

  5. Victor Boniface is looking like a good striker . We should get him while still cheap before he goes the way of Victor Osimhen and Ferguson
